Antique Fragments

I've been using more salvaged scraps of antique lace to embellish another collection of mini hanging brooch pillows.

Each one comes with its own vintage costume brooch.

All stuffed firmly for a quality finish.

A lavender filled sachet with random lengths of antique lace creating a frill around the edge.

Off the Peg

I'd been asked by several customers to my shop if I sold handmade peg bags. It was something I always used to make in my old shop, but for some reason I hadn't got around to making any for my newer one...

Until now.

Simple peg bags to make wash day a bit more fun!

I've also been using my vintage floral fabrics to make a cushion this week...

And more lavender filled hearts.

This evening I finished making-over this tall bedside cabinet.

I used a vintage wallpaper to cover the drawer front and cupboard door.

It will arrive at the shop tomorrow.

Broaching the Subject!

I've been using vintage costume brooches again to decorate some pieces for the shop...

As well as the popular antique bottles, I have also made a new collection of brooch pillows.

Some are hanging ones, and all are made using fragments of antique lace and C19th French linen.
