Hair Raising.

Been making these little hair clips today. (Can also be used as corsages by clipping onto a lapel.)

Made from vintage /antique lace scraps and vintage violet flowers. 

Packaged with a vintage photograph.

Spring Cushion

A cushion made from a vintage hand worked tapestry panel, featuring  spring flowers.

The reverse is a traditional Sanderson floral fabric with tie closure.

A Quick Wash & Brush Up

I often see these ebony clothes brushes at flea markets and sales. They are a bit plain and ordinary, so I decided to give these two a quick makeover.

I glued an antique French fabric to the top...

And finished the raw edges with a narrow braid.
Now a pretty addition to a dressing table.
