Scrap Crafts and a Tidy Shop

I'm still a bit 'washing line' obsessed and have created some more Beatrix Potter greetings cards today...

But with the shop's shelves now full of my handmade cards, it was time to work on something new...

After my BIG clear-out for the Frome Textile Fair a few weeks ago, I was left with a large bag full of lace scraps, which I wanted to start making use of...

This is a lace collage that I came up with combining lots of the scrappy-scraps of antique lace and a Beatrix Potter image. 

It hangs from an old French shop parcel handle. 

This afternoon I tidied up the shop after a surprisingly busy week and made the displays look a little more presentable again...
