This is my secondary blog and is designed as an archive of my handmade creations, past and present. I also add dates of fairs I'm attending, where I offer for sale my handmade pieces and also carefully sourced vintage goods. I hope you will enjoy taking a look, Niki x

This Week's Makes...

As well as filling my shop full of handmade bunting ready for the Diamond Jubilee celebrations in Shepton Mallet tomorrow, I have also made a pair of cushions.
I used vintage hand embroidery and a late 40's/ early 50's floral fabric.

Inside are plump feather filled pads.

I also covered a pair of shoe stretchers and have plans to do more for the Cotswold's Vintage Fair in August.
These sold today.

Have a lovely Jubilee weekend,

A new cushion made today, using a beautiful vintage hand embroidered panel of a Devon Village.
I have used a vintage Sanderson floral chintz for the reverse, with ties  holding the opening closed. It has a new feather filled pad inside. Possibly coming with me to the Vintage & Handmade Fair Chipping Sodbury, if there is room in my car!

Bags of Goodies...

I've been keeping my head down this week working hard making lots of new items to take with me to the Vintage & Handmade Fair in Chipping Sodbury next Saturday. I'll update my blog next week with a sneaky peek.
This little bag was made for my shop this week - Its a lovely vintage Sanderson floral linen, lined inside with a ditsy flannelette, and trimmed with vintage tassel braid and vintage button.
