A lot of the linens that I bought recently were either soiled or had holes in them, which sadly seems to make them unsaleable. I decided to salvage the good bits (particularly the lovely hand embroidery) and rework them into cushions.
I've started to reuse the special hand embroidered bedspread that I discovered last month at a flea market. Sadly it was beyond saving for its original use, so I salvaged what I could of the beautiful hand embroidered border.
It was lovely to work with and was ideal for making some unique bags. Two have been squirrelled away for the Vintage Bazaar next month.
